We’ve talked quite a bit on our video and podcasts that video has to be an essential component of your content marketing strategy (check out Episode 64).
But if you’re going to include video on your website, embedding YouTube is not always the best option due to their strategy to do everything they can to get people clicking back to YouTube and away from your site. Other hosting places like Vimeo and Wistia offer a lot of features but at a cost.
You also want users to have a great experience on your site, playing that video without delay or buffering, otherwise, they will bounce. That is where today’s product, Swarmify, helps you out. Swarmify provides video CDN services that provide fast video playback from their vast worldwide CDN.
One of the best things I like about Swarmify is that it’s fast, it’s easy to set up, it works on both WordPress and any other website where you can add a header script and HTML code (i.e. almost everything), and if you already have YouTube or Vimeo videos embedded they will automatically replace them.
