How to Use Social Proof to Boost Website Conversions with ProveSource

I've never been a fan of social proof widgets, you know the ones I am talking about, they put the names and pictures of people who may have signed up for a webinar or purchased a product in the past to try to entice you to subscribe or sign up yourself.

Maybe it's just me, I don't like peer pressure. But science does show that social proof does have a strong psychological influence on us.

But then I ran across ProveSource and while they let you do the picture and name thing, they also have a few other options which I really like. And they have one of the best user interface and user experiences that I have seen in this space.
