Building your mailing list is one of the most important marketing things you can do as a business. As I talked about in Episode 74 of the podcast, you can’t put all your eggs in the social media basket for your business communication (listen to the episode for why).
We were recently looking for a way to provide readers of our Medium publication a way to subscribe to our community, and it’s always better to have your call of action on the page, but medium puts limitations on what you can embed.
And then we discovered Upscribe.
Upscribe provides a very easy way to add a nicely designed signup form, not just on Medium, but pretty much any website. Plus they have a ton of native integrations with many of the other applications a Tech Smart Boss would need.
In this video, we set up a new Upscribe account, take a look around, set up a form integrated with our newsletter software, Revue, and add the form to Medium. You’ll see it wasn’t without a few hiccups, but it was pretty easy.
